Last Resort

I designed this map in UE5 for Fortnite Battle Royale as a beachfront POI space, intended to inspire King of the Hill type engagements in contention for control of the central resort tower.

Goals:

  • Provide a compelling space with strong thematic draw.

  • Great sense of flow, players can quickly understand the layout.

  • Ease of navigation through distinct landmark areas.

Distinct landmarking provides players anchor points for strategy

I built the layout to feel open and promote high visibility around the resort, to lend itself to quick threat assessment and reaction. The overall area is marked with strong callouts for coordinating teams to communicate incoming enemies and respond effectively.
